Dr. Amelia H. Baugh has worked in the dental field since 2002. From the first moment she began dental assisting, she knew this was her career path and never veered off that path.
In 2004, Dr. Baugh graduated Cum Laude in Honors studies from Texas Tech University with her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Immediately upon graduating, she moved to Houston to begin her studies as a dentist. In 2008, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas-Dental Branch at Houston. After three years of being an associate at a practice in Fort Worth, Dr. Baugh took a leap of faith and started her private dental practice. Her exposure to a busy, all-inclusive dental office in Fort Worth has enabled her to construct a practice that implements all aspects of dentistry with minimal patient referral out of the office.
Dr. Baugh has strong interest in cosmetics, reconstruction, and orthodontics. She has attained certification in both Invisalign (invisible braces) and enteral sedation (sleep dentistry). Dr. Baugh also enjoys treating children of all ages.
In addition to continual professional improvement, Dr. Baugh is a strong proponent for community service. As a partner in education with Northwest ISD, Dr. Baugh promotes dental and oral health among students at surrounding elementary and middle schools within the district. She is actively involved in her church’s outreach program and is continually giving back to the community, especially children, through her dentistry.
Dr. Baugh is an active member in The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Texas Dental Association, and The Fort Worth District Dental Society.
When she is away from the office, Dr. Baugh enjoys spending time with her two sons Tyler (4) and Zachary (2) and traveling with her husband Josh. In her remaining free time, you might find her at church, working out, or spending time outdoors.
